About Developmental Soccer

The Southwest Virginia Rush Soccer Developmental Program is an exciting, fun and
energetic program for players U4-U12. Teams will be formed by birth year based on
similar schools, neighborhoods and friends. This unique youth soccer program will provide
players with a solid knowledge and love for the game of soccer. Rush aims to foster a
safe, fun, educational experience for children as well as a solid foundation in the game.

Return To Play Guide
After reviewing federal and state guidelines and recommendations from multiple youth
sport governing bodies, it appears a fall 2020 return to play for developmental soccer is
possible. This possible return requires significant modifications to our health and safety,
seasonal schedule, and program operating plans. As directed by US Soccer, Southwest
Virginia Rush Soccer has published a preliminary return to play guide prior to opening
registration.
