School board votes to adopt new policy on the treatment of transgender students

The Pulaski County School Board on Monday evening unanimously approved the adoption of a new model policy on the treatment of transgender students as advocated by Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
Without any discussion, the board voted to approve the Virginia Department of Education’s Model Policies on Ensuring Privacy, Dignity and Respect for All Students and Parents in Virginia’s Public Schools.
This replaces the policy ratified in 2021 that came from the Department of Education under the Gov. Ralph Northam administration.
We’ll have more later.

I am thrilled and thankful to God that the new model policy of the VDOE concerning transgender students was passed by our school board!
Praise God, they did the right thing! May He bless them and our children because of this!
