Speedwell man arrested on drug charges wanted in Pulaski County

On Friday, Oct. 17 the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office had several deputies patrolling the Speedwell area. While in the Speedwell area they were also looking for a wanted person that led them to the residence of 6618 Grayson Turnpike.

While at the residence several subjects ran from deputies. Deputies pursued the men and found the three men hiding in a field behind the residence.

Deputies identified James Walter Bailey II that had recently moved into the residence located at 6618 Grayson Turnpike in Speedwell. He was wanted from Pulaski County for Distribution of Methamphetamine and a Probation Violation.

He was arrested and a search was conducted. Deputies found James Walter Bailey II in possession of over $500 in cash and 42 grams of methamphetamine. The narcotics had a street value of $4,200.

Drug Distribution (Warrant Pulaski County)

Probation Violation

Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute 28 grams or more  

 

The others were released because they had no warrants or drugs in their possession.
