Staffing issues lead to Randolph Park Pool closing for season
Due to a limited number of staff members, Randolph Park Pool will be closed for the remainder of the season. The “weekends only” schedule that starts once Pulaski County Schools open will not be possible this year. Our main priority is to operate the pool safely, and this cannot be achieved with limited staff. Please understand that we will not compromise our high safety standards for any reason. We would like to thank the public for their understanding, and we hope to see you back at the pool next summer.
Thank you,
Shay Dunnigan

To be honest I don’t understand why they opened this year. If you go back and read all the closing early, delays, not opening dates. You.would see the pool season is rarely open a full entire week.
I’m very disappointed with our county pool.
Why not have time blocks for adults to swim. 7-10am or 7-9pm we don’t get to enjoy the pool when it’s open. Please consider somethings for next pool season. I love swimming and wish our pool was more accommodating to everyone.
Perhaps even removing the basketball hoop on the other end or not at all. It’s hard for kids that want to jump in there. Thanks l!
