State Police investigating fatal crash in Pulaski County

Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred July 2, 2026, at 4:15 p.m. on Interstate 81 northbound at Exit 94 in Pulaski County.

 

A 2022 Harley Davidson Street Glide was exiting off of Interstate 81 at Exit 94 when it ran off of the road and hit two signs.   The motorcycle then overturned.

 

The driver, Timothy O Cox, 67, of Dublin, Va., died at the scene.  Cox was wearing a helmet.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
