Three Pitchers Work Together As Pulaski River Turtles Shuts Out Danville Otterbots

Pulaski River Turtles defeated Danville Otterbots 4-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Lucas Reed induced a groundout from Chenar Brown to finish off the game.

Pulaski River Turtles put up three runs in the fourth inning. Pulaski River Turtles offense in the inning was led by Miles Smith, Evan Minarovic, and Ross Lovich, all driving in runs in the inning.

A single by Ryan Carr in the second inning was a positive for Danville Otterbots.

Ty Ruhl pitched Pulaski River Turtles to victory. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out two. Carter Lyles and Reed entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Chad Coles took the loss for Danville Otterbots. The righty allowed four hits and four runs over four innings, striking out two.

Pulaski River Turtles collected eight hits. Mark Trotta, Conner Gore, and Minarovic each had multiple hits for Pulaski River Turtles. Minarovic, Gore, and Trotta each managed two hits to lead Pulaski River Turtles.
