UVa remains on a recruiting roll

The University of Virginia football program has continued on its all-time roll with a 12th commitment to the 2021 recruiting class. Hugh Laughlin, a 6-6, 285 tackle from Athens, Georgia committed to the Cavaliers Friday evening. Laughlin will likely play on the defensive line in Charlottesville.
Laughlin becomes the 9th player recruited by UVa in the last six weeks, 12th overall, and the Cavaliers have vaulted all the way to 18th on the nation’s recruiting rankings for the 2021 class, plus have picked up a very promising quarterback transfer. Laughlin said his conversation with UVa head coach Bronco Mendenhall, academics, and the general overall environment of going to college in Charlottesville made him decide to go ahead and commit.
Laughlin is a three star recruit who was also offered by Arizona State, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, UCF, Vandy, Boston College, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, and Syracuse among others.
UVa has now gotten commitments from three quarterbacks, one a transfer, three wide receivers, a defensive end, linebacker, defensive tackle, two cornerbacks, a running back, and a safety.
