Vicky Renick Meade

Vicky Renick Meade, age 72 of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her residence surrounded by family and friends. She was born on January 8, 1954, in Roanoke, and was the daughter of the late Mary Hutson Renick and the late James Wythe Renick.

 

Vicky retired from Volvo in Dublin, after 23 years of service.  She enjoyed fishing and her mountain home on Miller Creek.  She enjoyed their annual fish fry with family and friends and going to the beach with the girls.  She graduated from William Fleming High School in 1973 in Roanoke.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Barry and Gary.

 

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gary Douglas Meade:  a son; Bart (Karen) Hodges;  step-daughter; Meridith Ayers; step-son; Bryan Meade; sister; Robin Jenkins; two grandchildren; Emily and Jacob Ayers; Also survived by a special friend, Marcus Bailey and his son, Marcus, Jr. She will be remembered for her kind heart and always wanting to help people.

 

There will be no service, but please visit www.seaglefuneralhome.com to share memories of Vicky and her life.  There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. We would like to extend special thanks to ACG Hospice nurses, that took care of her and to Stephanie Lane for all of her help and care to Vicky.  Also, would like to give thanks to Barbara Blankenship, Mike and Mary Barbour, Pudgee and Poochie and Sherree Nickels.
