WEEKLY REPORT: Virginia State Police Ongoing Crime Suppression Operations, Recovering Firearms, Narcotics, and Investigating Human Trafficking

Virginia State PoliceRICHMOND, VA—From September 3 – September 9, 2025, the Virginia State Police, in partnership with supporting federal and local agencies, achieved significant criminal interdictions. Their ongoing efforts led to the recovery of firearms, the seizure of narcotics, the seizure of U.S. currency, and the investigation of multiple crimes throughout the Commonwealth.
Operation Highlights
Firearms Recovery:
  •  A total of 15 firearms were recovered, valued at $7,500.
Narcotics Seizures:
· Total seized narcotics amounted to 38.1 pounds and 203 controlled substance pills.
· Denied revenue from seized narcotics: $1,496,001.
· Breakdown of narcotics recovered:
o Cocaine: 33.6 pounds
o Crack Cocaine: 1.3 ounces
o Methamphetamine: 1 pound
o Marijuana: 2.3 pounds
o Fentanyl: 1 pound
o Fentanyl Pills: 100
o Percocet Pills: 103
· U.S Currency: $34,364.
Gaming Enforcement:
· 34 gaming-related tips received (1,849 total to date).
Human Trafficking Investigations:
· 12 new human trafficking tips received (1,209 total to date).
· Investigations conducted:
o Cases investigated or currently under investigation: 219
o Individual investigative activities: 3,230
o Victims identified and offered services: 70
