Woman struck by vehicle Sept. 7 in Radford succumbs to injuries

Ms. Jael Osterbauer, the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on September 7th,  has succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Ms. Osterbauer passed away in Roanoke Memorial Hospital on September 13 at approximately 9:00 a.m. No further information will be released at this time.

The Radford City Police Department is investigating an accident that occurred on September 7, 2019 at about 9:54 p.m. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in front of 33 West Main St. The pedestrian was identified as a 21 year-old female, Jael Osterbauer and was airlifted
to Roanoke Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
