Woman charged in February death of three-year-old
On Feb. 24, 2018, the Pulaski Police Department responded to Meadowview Apartments concerning a three-year-old male child in cardiac arrest. An investigation was conducted which concluded this month.
May 22, 2018, a Pulaski County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Amber Renee Lucas, 28, formerly of Pulaski with felony murder and child abuse resulting in a death.
May 23, 2018, Ms. Lucas was arrested in Giles County with the assistance of the Pembroke Police Department. She is being held in the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
No further information will be released.

Unfortunately plea bargaining will happen for this person, whom I don’t know at all and little to no jail time will be served where is the justice for this child? Just saying
