Charles Edward Leonard

September 23, 1939 – January 5, 2026

Charles Edward Leonard, 86, of Fairlawn, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a former Pastor and Missionary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester D. and Clella Mae Byrant Leonard; his first wife, Shirley Ann Pope Leonard; his second wife, Marilyn Pearl Bird Leonard; and his third wife, Virginia Wade Watson Leonard.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberlee Star Ferner and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Aaron, Kristen, and Sarah; 10 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Grace Baptist Church, 552 East Main Street, Dublin, VA, 24084. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm with Pastor Doug Testerman and Pastor Burl Greer officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford.
