China Bell Roop Hall

China Bell Roop Hall, age 86 of Pulaski, died Sunday morning, November 19, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on June 8, 1937 in Washington County, VA, and was the daughter of the late Amanda E. Trivette Roop and the late Elisha Roop.  China began her working career with Jefferson Mills, then Lee Jeans, and finished her working career at Pulaski Hospital in the Birthing Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles James Hall:  brothers; Elza Roop, Everette Roop, Linzie Roop, Earl Roop, and Elmer Roop:  sisters; Annette Rupe, Iola Daye, and Lona Mae Goad.

She is survived by her two sons:  James Michael (Jennifer) Hall of Draper, and Charles Timothy Hall of Pulaski and his fiancé Senita Haga. Four grandchildren; Daniel Elisha (Marisa) Hall, John Samuel Hall, Brandon Michael (Tracie) Hall, and Dylan Matthew (Kenzie) Hall:  great-grandchildren: Shannon Lee (Ryan) Saunders, and Brooklyn Savannah Hall.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Lawson officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
