After the match, Cougar coach Chad Graham had this to say:
“Somehow, PH had played six matches compared to the same time that we played one away match prior to Thursday. This ended up making all the difference as we lost by a few net shots after about four hours. PH has a new coach that has a great attitude and the same years of experience as I do (5th season coaching high school tennis).
“One highlight from the outing was that Freshman Ethan Worley #6 won his first high school match. Another was that our new #2 doubles team, Mark Graham and Aston Paul, added to their winning streak from when they played together as the #3 doubles.
“And finally, I should mention that #1 Camden Hite pulled out an exhausting 2-hour come-from-behind victory in which he caused my watch to give me an alert that I had never seen: “Your heart rate rose above 120 BPM while you seemed to be inactive for 10 minutes”. Apparently, Tennis can be an exciting sport.”
