Fine Arts Center kicks off 41st year with new program

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley kicks off its 41st year with a new program, Second Saturdays Art Café!  With an activity for kids aged 4-10 from 11:00 am to 12 noon, and another endeavor for older kids and adults in the afternoon, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  This is sure to bring lots of good times to downtown Pulaski and the whole New River Valley!

March 9 will start the year-long series of activities with a lesson on line and pattern for the younger set, and a beginning calligraphy class in the afternoon.  The children’s class is free, but each child needs to preregister at the Center.  The calligraphy class has a cost of $8, which includes a calligraphy pen and handouts to take home.  Preregister for both classes by 4:00 pm the preceding Thursday, March 7, at 540-980-7363, or by email at info@facnrv.org.
