New Schedule for Pulaski on Main

Effective July 5, Pulaski on Main, Pulaski’s Virginia Main Street Commercial District Affiliate, is changing days of operation this month. Previously open Monday through Friday, Pulaski on Main will now be open Tuesday through Saturday. The daily hours remain the same: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pulaski on Main’s new operational hours extend beyond the work week to support Town of Pulaski  events, such as the Music and Merchants Festival that took place on May 18 this year. The Saturday hours are designed to present activity and operations on Main Street during the weekend. Events help promote Downtown businesses and weekend activity encourage tourism, an important growing business opportunity for all of Southwest Virginia.

“Pulaski is well positioned to bring more tourists into our historic downtown,” says Catherine Van Noy, Pulaski on Main’s Interim Director. “Our new hours will increase tourism opportunities for Pulaski and allow Pulaski on Main to better serve our Downtown merchants.”

The new hours reflect growing interest in Pulaski’s Downtown from customers and business owners alike. Construction is currently underway for two new businesses: Crescent City Café, a new restaurant for Pulaski with a New Orleans style, and Next Level, a virtual reality center. The café and VR center are projected to open in late 2019 and 2020, respectively. These incoming businesses represent two new destinations for Pulaski’s Main Street.
