Jeremy Bennett, Director of Inter-government Affairs for the Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) presents the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors with an Achievement Award it won this past summer. Bennett said Pulaski County was one of 21 counties winning a total of 29 awards this year out of a total of 100 entries. The award is the second for the county – it won its first award from VACo in 2014. This year’s award was for the county’s promotional campaign addressing the human capital shortage through recruitment and retention.  The campaign made use of employee testimonials featuring the message, “Work where your job makes a real difference.”
