Tractor-trailer carrying celery crashes on I-81 in Wythe County

Earlier today, the Virginia State Police were on the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer in Wythe County on Interstate 81 near the 72 mile marker. At 7:56 a.m., Monday, a tractor-trailer traveling north on I-81 ran off the left side of the interstate and overturned in the median. The tractor-trailer was loaded with celery. Neither the driver or his dog were injured in the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
