Dawson, Clontz, Penn elected to council in Pulaski; Clark is new mayor

The voters spoke on Tuesday in the Town of Pulaski and Brooks Dawson, Tyler Clontz, Lane Penn and David Clark were the winners.

Clark won the mayor’s race unopposed and garnered 419 votes.  Clark will take over the job currently held by Nick Glenn who chose not to seek re-election.

In the council race, Dawson was top vote-getter with 390 votes, followed by Clontz with 271 and Penn’s 251.

Failing in their bids for election were incumbent H.M. Kidd who received 214 votes and former councilmember, Joel Burchett Jr. who received 140 votes.

According to Pulaski County Registrar Kathy Webb, 464 people voted Tuesday in the Town of Pulaski.
