Charting Tuesday’s Election Results Across Virginia

Former Vice President Joe Biden won Virginia with 54 percent of the vote over President Donald Trump (44.5%) and Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen (1.5%).

Biden captured 2,286,406 votes to Trump’s 1,896,101 and Jorgensen’s 62,220.

U.S. Senate

Incumbent Sen. Mark Warner, D won with 56 percent of the vote (2,332,363 votes) to Republican challenger Daniel Gade’s 44 percent (1,856,394 votes).

Congress

Republican Morgan Griffith won re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives for the Ninth District with 270,580 votes. He was unopposed.

On the Constitutional Amendments:

Question 1 (Establishment of a Redistricting Commission) was approved by a vote of: Yes – 2,455,403; No – 1,278,308.

Question 2 (Property tax exemption for disabled veterans) Yes – 3,270,378; No – 533,412
