County at 63 percent turnout as of 1 p.m.
As of 1 p.m. today, 63 percent of Pulaski County’s 23,148 registered voters have cast ballots in the election, according to Kathy Webb, the county’s Director of Elections.
Webb reported that so far today, 5,334 people had voted at the county’s 12 precincts by 1 p.m. Adding that figure to the 9,307 who voted early either in-person or through mail absentee ballots and 14,641 registered voters in the county have voted so far.
Polls remain open today until 7 p.m.
Also, ballot drop boxes are located at each of the county’s polling sites and at the Registrar’s Office in which voters may deposit their mail absentee ballots.
