Divers do deep cleanup

A group of divers gathered after church last Sunday to clean the New River (to 25-40 feet deep), the shorelines and parking lots under the Rt. 114 bridge (near RAAP) where fishermen, boaters and scuba divers and picknickers come to enjoy the river. They picked up old tires, cleaned up household trash, old computers and furniture, fishing line, bait containers, bottles, cans, etc. It’s spic and span now. Pictured are Tommy Carpenter, Justin Ritter, Zack Dunnigan and Barry Cox.
