| RICHMOND, VA— Governor Glenn Youngkin, after being notified this afternoon that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice was filing a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Virginia, released the following statement:
“With less than 30 days until the election, the Biden-Harris Department of Justice is filing an unprecedented lawsuit against me and the Commonwealth of Virginia, for appropriately enforcing a 2006 law signed by Democrat Tim Kaine that requires Virginia to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls – a process that starts with someone declaring themselves a non-citizen and then registering to vote. Virginians – and Americans – will see this for exactly what it is: a desperate attempt to attack the legitimacy of the elections in the Commonwealth, the very crucible of American Democracy. With the support of our Attorney General, we will defend these commonsense steps, that we are legally required to take, with every resource available to us. Virginia’s election will be secure and fair, and I will not stand idly by as this politically motivated action tries to interfere in our elections, period.” |

I lived in Europe for 2 years. You couldn’t go from country to country without a passport yet the Democrats want to throw out every form of identification to get around America. Go Governor Youngkin!

When I first registered to vote, many years ago 50 + years ago, I presented documentation to the resistor to be placed in the rolls. No UD was needed at the polling place.
Many from my parents time only had family bibles to establish their birth.I recall one major retirement system recognizing such as proof.
Now we have a governor who bought up property around his resident & thus qualifying for real estate tax relief! Perhaps he is judging purported actions of others by his own in order to save taxes, to judge others.
And with elections just around the corner!

The Democrats will do anything to win; we have seen it before, but telling a state that it can’t enforce a law, especially one signed by a Democrat governor, really is unbelievable! Bringing in all of these immigrants was obviously for votes. I wonder how many other states are being forced to accept votes from illegals? The governors of all the states should get together and form an alliance.
This shows that they are getting nervous that Kamala can’t win without cheating.

I am very proud of governor Younkin for being a fantastic governor and person, he is well on his way of making Virginia great again, I only wish he could run for a 2nd and 3d term as our governor. But his LT governor Winston Sears will also be a great governor.
