Hokies beat Ohio State to reach NCAA Women’s Final Four

Virginia Tech beat Ohio State Monday night, 84-74 to reach the NCAA Women’s Final Four.

South Carolina also beat Maryland, 86-75 to advance to the Final Four as well.

The Hokies will now face LSU on Friday night, while South Carolina will play Iowa.

The two winners on Friday advance to Sunday’s National Championship game.

South Carolina is the favorite to repeat as champions. The Gamecocks are 36-0 this season and are on a 42-game winning streak dating back to their title run last season.

Virginia Tech is 31-4 on the season.

Monday night for the Hokies, Elizabeth Kitley score 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Georgia Amoore chipped in 24 points.
