Kaye Francis Albert
March 17, 1942 – December 7, 2023
Kaye Albert passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord in the early morning hours of Thursday December 7th. She was at home and in the presence of her children.
Kaye was a childhood survivor of polio and suffered with chronic illnesses throughout her life – many due to post-polio syndrome. She succumbed to cancer at the age of 81.
She is preceded in death by her parents – Rudolph and Shirley Albert of Pulaski, Virginia and her brother Rudolph “Mickey” Albert of Jacksonville, Florida.
Kaye had many jobs and careers in her life – including co-owner/ operator of J&K Camper Corral at Claytor Lake in Pulaski County Virginia; retiring from Verizon in Pulaski Virginia. Everywhere she went she had great friends who loved and valued her – it was impossible not to. She appreciated and cared very much for all of her friends and co-workers.
Kaye is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members whom she also remained close to and maintained loving relationships with including her Sister by marriage – Jane Davis-Albert of Jacksonville Florida.
Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great grand children who learned from her the lessons of appreciation, caring and unconditional love. The secret that binds family and friends together and holds them close.
She is survived by her children: Howard Covey, Joe and Betty Anne Covey, Rhonda and Paul Peyton, and Ronald Covey and Shauna Goodkin.
Grandchildren: Justin & Staige Kerzanet, Rachel and John Veillette, Mathew and Rachel Dobbins, Katie Jo and Don Callahan, Tanner Allison and Ally Peyton, Grayson Covey and Sadie Covey.
Great Grandchildren: Evan, Lucy and Emmy Kerzanet, Marleigh and Dylan Veillette, Lucas Dobbins and Lottie Comer, Kaleb Smith and Brianna Callahan.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date.

Kaye was a truly beautiful person. So kind to everyone be it friend or stranger. She will be missed 🙏

Kaye could not be more loved-what a fantastic aunt she was to me!
