Pulaski County is excited to announce that legendary motorsports television broadcaster, Bob Dillner, will be the play-by-play commentator for the Sportsman Race on the night of the largest sporting event in the history of the New River Valley, the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) race.

Bob Dillner is a veteran motorsports television broadcaster with more than 25 years of experience in all forms of motorsports. Dillner served as a motorsports broadcaster as both a Pit Reporter and Analyst for nearly 20 years with NASCAR, covering the Cup Series, Xfinity series and Truck Series. Additionally, his work has also been seen on broadcasts covering IndyCar, NHRA, ASA, ARCA, World of Outlaws, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, and many more series.

Dillner is most noted for his 14 years with FOX Sports and SPEED Channel, although his work has also been viewed by many on CBS, NBC, TNN, and MAVTV. In fact, his role as host of MAVTV’s Chili Bowl coverage for several years has been one of his most coveted positions.

Dillner stated, “I’m thrilled to be on the mic for Pulaski County Motorsports Park when SRX comes to town. I’ve been to more than 300 race tracks nationwide and Pulaski County Motorsports Park is one the finest racing facilities in America. The racing is always great and the overall show for the fans is

top-notch. That’s why I think bringing SRX to Pulaski County is a perfect fit. Now fans will get to see racing legends duke it out on one tough track in Virginia.”

President and CEO of Wallace Racing Group, Mark Ebert, stated, “Bob Dillner joining us on the mic for SRX Night will be a treat for our fans and racers. Bob will call our Sportsman race that evening. He has spent his entire life around short track racing and I can’t wait for him to see the racing in our Sportsman division. Bob’s familiarity with the SRX stars will be great for the Q and A portion of our evening with SRX. The show keeps getting bigger and better.”

The SRX race will take place at Pulaski County Motorsports Park on July 27th and will feature

world-class drivers including 2x NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch, 3x Cup Series champion, Tony Stewart, 4x Indianapolis 500 champion, Helio Castroneves, and 2023 Indianapolis 500 champion, Josef Newgarden.
