Obituary for Matthew Dane Peake
Matthew Dane Peake, age 62 of Roanoke passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born October 11, 1960 in Pulaski he was the son of Aaron “Jay” Jefferson Peake & Snowdeer Jamison Peake. He was also preceded in death by his niece, Breanna Peake.
Dane was a graduate of Pulaski County High School.
He is survived by his

Brother – Aaron Jefferson “Ernie” Peake III & wife Racheal – Lebanon, TN
Special Cousin – Donna Clark
Many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Mike Ingo officiating. Interment will follow at the Thornspring UMC Cemetery, Dublin.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time Friday at the Funeral Home.

Dane will be missed terribly. We grew up together sang in the same youth group and were even neighbors in Roanoke. COCA-COLA And Rest Easy my dear friend. Save us a place on the other side

My condolences to his parents, his brother, Ernie, and wife. I loved him as a boy in my youth group at church and always admired his creativity and many talents. May he rest in God’s loving arms for eternity.

I worked with Dane for years and thought he was so kind and thoughtful and talented with ALL kinds of artistic talent. Also had the sweetest parents ! So sorry Snowdeare and Jay
