TV journalist Webb hired by Pulaski County
Pulaski County is excited to announce the hiring of their new Marketing and Communications Coordinator and Deputy Public Information Officer, Andrew Webb.
“I’m excited to join the Pulaski County team and help grow and showcase all that the county has to offer,” Webb said. “This is a great community and I look forward to being able to promote and tell its stories.”
Webb will work closely alongside Pulaski County Tourism director, Erika Tolbert, to promote county tourism assets and develop evolving marketing strategies.
“I’m thrilled to bring Andrew’s talent and skills to Pulaski County’s Tourism Department,” Tolbert said. “His experience will be an asset to promote our community.”
After working in the field of journalism at NBC29 in Charlottesville and WDBJ7 in Roanoke for three years, Webb will be stepping in with plenty of experience to fulfill his duties here in Pulaski County.
As a future Pulaski County resident, Webb and his wife will be helping the county with its goal of obtaining 40,000 residents by 2030.
Webb is already an active member of the community as he coaches the New River Valley Tigers youth baseball team. He played college baseball himself for the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Webb graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a degree in Multimedia Journalism. Pulaski County is excited to welcome Webb to its team and is optimistic for a bright future.
