Tracy Belcher today announced she is seeking the Republican nomination to run for treasurer in Pulaski County in November.

Prior to working at the Pulaski County School Board, she held positions in accounting at Virginia Tech and Pulaski Furniture.

Like the community she seeks to represent, Tracy resides in Pulaski with her husband, Brian, an employee at James Hardie since beginning operations in Pulaski 13 years ago. Tracy and Brian have a son, Ryan age 11, a student in Pulaski County Public Schools, and a daughter, Ella age 3, who attends preschool in the county.

Tracy was a founding member of the Pulaski County Citizens for Education and played an indispensible role in securing funding and support for the construction of the new Pulaski County Middle School. During her work with the Pulaski County Citizens for Education Tracy discovered her love for mobilizing
the community and advocating on behalf the citizens of Pulaski County.

“I am Committed to Our Community and promise if I am elected as your Treasurer I will always represent the Citizens and our Community with the loyalty and honesty they deserve,” Belcher stated.
