Obituary for Hazel Fay “Peggy” Porter

Hazel Fay “Peggy” Porter, age 85 of Pulaski peacefully passed away surrounded by cherished loved ones on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem.

Born September 4, 1933 in Wythe County she was the daughter of the late Jack Beasley and Lucy Akers McRoberts. Her daughter, Alma Lugene Cabaniss, grandson, Edward Dale “Nub” Porter, great grandson, Jostin Dale Porter, brother, Edgar Pope McRoberts and sister, Emma Jean Davis also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM – Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Kelly Howlett officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends between 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home.
