Obituary for Kenneth G. Tolbert

Norris StevensKenneth G. Tolbert, son of the late Otey R. and Lettie D. Tolbert, of Dublin, died on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 91.
He attended Dublin High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served as a Weather Intercept Operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Norma “Jackie” Richardson Tolbert; two sons, Kenneth Michael and William Todd Tolbert of Dublin.
Ken was an avid golfer, hunter, gardener, and loved the outdoors.
A military service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital & God’s Pit Crew.
