Obituary for Lena Jacqueline “Jackie” O’Dell Duncan

duncan jackie odellLena Jacqueline “Jackie” O’Dell Duncan, age 75 of Draper went Home to be with her Savior and her husband, on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at her home, only one day after what would have been their 56th Wedding Anniversary. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her death.

Born October 18, 1947 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Arlie Thomas O’Dell and Ann Phillips O’Dell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Duncan, an infant son, as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Price and Ethel Duncan.

She was last member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Church in the Delton Community where she served as the pastor’s wife. She was also a loving mother, grand-mother and her children and grandchildren consider themselves very blessed. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her children and spouses; Angie (David) Edney – Draper, Crystal (Wayne) Latsch – Pulaski, Roger (Laura) Duncan – Cleveland, TN, grandchildren: John (Kelsey) Edney, Katie (Joey) Neidigh, Eli Duncan, Abby Latsch, Josephine Duncan, Zach Latsch and Addy Grace Duncan; brother: Arlie (Gail) O’Dell – Bonneau, SC; sisters: Kathy (Clifford) Millirons – Draper and Sarah (Johnny) Hawley – Draper; sister-in-law: Jean (David) Wall – Dublin; brothers-in-law: Jim (Shelby) Duncan – Beaver Dam, Michael (Velvet) Duncan – Pembroke and Wayne Duncan of Pulaski, as well as many nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends between 11:30-1:30 PM at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow at the O’Dell-Moore Cemetery (Hiwassee).

The family will leave in procession from the funeral home 1:30 PM – Monday, October 31, 2022 for a graveside funeral service starting at 2:00 PM at the O’Dell-Moore Cemetery (Hiwassee) with Rev. David O’Dell and Pastor Shawn Burchett.
