Obituary for Louise Elizabeth Hundley Berry
For everything there is a season, for Louise Elizabeth Hundley Berry, her season ended peacefully at her home on December 7, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born May 18, 1929 to Edward and Mary Myrtle Hundley, in Layland, West Virginia. She was a loving mother to eight children, grandmother to numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was a tough Christian woman, who attended First Church of God- Dublin until her battle with Dementia prevented her from attending.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dallas Gracen Berry Sr.; Son, Dallas G. Berry Jr.; a daughter, Suzanne Berry Crowder; son-in-laws Saford Finn and Doug Crowder and grandson Dallas Walter Anderson.
Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her Son and Daughter-in-law Roy and Barbara Berry (Pulaski); Son, Garnet Berry (Dublin); Daughters and son-in-laws Delores and Jack Brooks (Pulaski), Shirley and Phil Shrewsbury (Pulaski), Sharon and Maury Sharp (Blacksburg), Karen and Craig Gusler (Dublin); and Daughter-in-law Mildred Berry (Pulaski);
Grandchildren Sherry, Michael, Tony, Jonathan, Brittany, JR , Christian, Angel, Pam, Cindy, David, Brian, Jason, Melissa, Marcus, Clayton, Dustin, Cody, Chelsea, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her church family and her sisters Lillian Pugh and Gennis Gonzalez.
Special thank you to grandchildren Sherry, Michael, JR, Angel, Christian, Mallory, Melissa, Chelsea and husband Wyatt for helping care for her over the years.
The family truly appreciates all of the love and care provided by special caregivers over the past eleven years: Lisa W., Pam H., Tanna H., Rebecca (Becky) G., Frances M., Brittany G., Anne V., Sandra O., Mary S., Brittney D., Rebecca T., Kathryn M., Lynn J., Jan P. and Jada B.
