Obituary for Ronald “Ronnie” Regan Eversole

Ronald “Ronnie” Regan Eversole, age 73 of Dublin passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at the New River Valley Medical Center. Born November 29, 1949 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Clyde H. Eversole, Sr. & Freeda Sparks Eversole. He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Patricia Eversole, sister, Judith E. Basham, brothers, Clyde H. “PeeWee” Eversole, Jr., Todd K. Eversole and nephew, Tommy Basham.

Ronnie was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea (August 1970 – February 1972) as a SPC 5 with Red Eye Missile Artillery out of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. He loved Nascar, drag racing, building street rods, going to cars shows and was an avid Pulaski County Cougars fan. He retired from Volvo with over 30 years of service.

Grandchildren – Hollins & Holden Tessar, Jonathan Humphrey and Dustin (Brooke) Adams

Sisters – Sue E. Roatenberry – Dublin, Lillian (Ken) Moore – Radford

Nephews – Chris (Emily) Foster, Gregg Ratcliff and special great nieces and nephews

Special Family members – Alexis Anders & her daughter, Joslynn Chessmore

Special Friends – Justin Arnold, LeRena Barrett, Courtney Bush and Larry Waldron

Special Caregiver – Laura Collins

Former Wife – Sandy Lackey

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM – Thursday at the Funeral Home.
