I am so sorry to hear of Dee’s passing. I worked with Dee for a while at Carilion New River in CCU and got to know her very well. She was always so funny when giving report about her patient’s. I was always so happy when she was on the schedule to work the nights that I was working. Dee was a great nurse and took great care of her patients. I know she will be missed by all who knew her. I am starting to realize just how many great nurses that I have known throughout the years have left this world and the number is growing. Dee is another one of the great nurses who has left this world and gone on to the big nurses station in heaven. R.I.P. dear sweet Dee.

My sincerest condolences to Dee’s family. I remember Dee very well from her years as a ICU nurse at CNRV. Always so full of energy and always worked far beyond the call of duty. Patients loved her. She demonstrated great professionalism during her care appropriately balanced with compassion and empathy. She will be missed. R.I.P.
